How to auto shutdown a timer in Windows 10

In this tutorial, I will share several ways to do a timer/countdown to automatically shut down a PC or laptop with Windows 10 OS. So the point is that our device will shut itself down according to the time we have set earlier.

Using windows 10 auto shutdown run command

For the first method, we will use the built-in features of Windows, ie Daud. The steps are as follows

  1. Press the button Windows + run To bring up the Run menu.
  2. type Shutdown -s -t 600, For numbers, you can change as you wish, the count is seconds.

Note: Suppose you want to shut down your PC after 10 minutes then the count is 10 x 60 = 600.
